    exactly! It's not bad at the town, because they built the town in the one nice place in a 100 miles. In town is the BEST it's going to be. West of Laramie is NOTORIOUS for being insanely bad. (and visibility of zero). Not 20 miles.

    I only watched the first minute because i need to roll. What I just saw was a bunch of idiot drivers crowding each other in bad driving conditions. It looks like the one taking the video was trying to maintain a sane following distance, but even he was following closer than he should have been in those conditions, I think.

    Time is your most precious commodity in an emergency. It runs out fast. If you maintain sane following distances, you have a chance to have an emergency and recover from it without destroying anything, or injuring or killing yourself or others.

    50 foot separation in those conditions is suicide. You will hit the vehicle in front of you before you even realize there is a problem.
