Starting to open up some sections of I80, specifically I80 eastbound between laramie and nebraska... how long before it is closed due to crash?

Also west bound from rawlins to utah is open.

The trouble spot remains, where the interstate should have never been built... elk mountain.

 

It'll be closed for most of the day is not until tomorrow. Further west, I-84 in Oregon is also closed from Pendleton to baker city. It's snowing across 80 in Utah as well, so look for more problems in the Cowboy State

 

Any clue as to why they only work one direction at a time? Most westbound sections are opening up. No love for eastbound traffic

 

What you want to drive to rawlins to set with 3000 other trucks? Until there is safe parking availble in rawlins I80 east from utah to rawlins will be slow to open.

Same reason I80 west from cheyenne is closed, as Laramie is full, no safe place left to park.
