So you're saying you'd get the 500 efficiency or 500 performance?
-
Y'know I've been thinking pretty hard about buying another rig myself. It seems kind of difficult to just be a company guy at this point, knowing I got stiffed and knowing I know what I am doing. I gotta ask though, the 12ga gliders. What are they charging for them and what are the spec's?
Part of me wants to call and ask but then I don't want to deal with sales pitches and all that bull. I'd love to get my hands on a pre-emission engine and pair it with an ultrashift to save some extra money on fuel. Plus my knee's. -
Whatever specs you want. I've heard they start at 225 and go up from there depending what shiny stuff or paint or whatever you want.
Also heard it's getting a lot more difficult to do it in Ontario. I guess you need the title to a wrecked truck in order to even be able to get a glider.... the noose is tightening...KB3MMX and HighwaySuperTramp Thank this. -
That sucks. As far as I see it the government shouldn't be allowed to interfere in business like they are.KB3MMX Thanks this. -
Everything they get their fingers in they screw it up. What allowed us to prosper back in the day was small government. But then again people could manage themselves, didn't have so many handouts. This system will break under its own weight someday.
ABadAzzPete, blacklabel, KB3MMX and 2 others Thank this. -
No you didn't.

Efficiency
all even power #s are Efficiency series
All ending in "5" are Performancemagoo68 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
What is it you’re disappointed about with your 565/2050?
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
Honestly the pulling power drops like a rock below 1300 , no way the peak tq is 1150 rpm as advertised. it likes to be driven more like a traditional motor pulling hills at 15 or 1,600rpm.
The power is good but not woo-hoo all exciting as you might think.... The big increased price tag of the higher horsepower higher torque motor is not worth it in my opinion. It also increases the cost of ext warranty.
The X15E will save you up front and also increase your bottom line from fuel savings. Pulling power at 1850lb ft is plenty... Plenty... Especially since it's available at much lower RPMs to get the job done compared to a performance spec higher rpm X
The performance motor is fun to drive but there's not enough fun factor for me to justify the loss of money from it. Not a huge gripe just something I would do differently.larry2903, Dave_in_AZ, wore out and 4 others Thank this.
