Aren't they all?
If mine acts up it will be fixed permanently. My warranty is out. I was not paying 13,000 more to extend to 5/500 from 2/250. For what? Down time and the pleasure of arguing with them why they should cover this or that? Here's an idea for society: make a good product and stand behind the product without having to charge extra insurance if you will that the product being sold will actually perform as promised for a given time line. How did we ever get to where we are now with this? In my dreams the epa would be completely abolished and cat would start turning out the 3406 and 6nz engines once again. They would put the rest of them out of business if they didn't follow suit and build s60 and n14 again. Paccar and international and Volvo engine....ya good luck competing in that world.

I would love to see it.
I watched a video adept ape put out a day or 2 ago about 1000 hp from a stock c15. It is a good watch. He says the c18 puts out 932 horse for the road version and 1000 in the marine version and the block is the exact same size as the c15. So in theory you should be able to put one in a truck. More to consider for my 2020 glider.......... -
KB3MMX Thanks this.

Maybe they do have something like that they sell to other parts of the world where emissions aren't a thought. For emissions regulations to go completely goodbye I highly doubt it. I don't see a company pouring money into r&d for something of "we can make money on this if they ever abolish emission requirements". -

They need to design a dpf that turns the collected carbon into brickettes you can bbq with. And that is the only maintenance. Empty the bin where it deposits said brickettes every May when you are firing up the bbq again.

We have a 2018 Pete 567 daycab tri-axle with the X15 Performance. So far sounds like it's a winner. He's usually hooked to a 13-axle Diamond trailer and coming from a similarly built C-16 powered Pete 389 driver says the grunt is right there, no complaints. Reliability has been good, same goes for fuel economy and ease of maintenance.
We just took delivery of a second similarly built 567 and have a third on order that will be pulling a 19-axle.
Surprised to hear about the bad luck with the Economy series.KB3MMX and Hegemeister Thank this. -
