What are the differences between efficiency, performance, and productivity?
-

That’s a Midwestern spec truck.Midwest Trucker Thanks this.

Not extremely slow but certainly the slow lane. But the days of racing up hills are long gone. That spec does over 8 mpg coast to coast. If you ran slow speeds it would do 9 mpg. Just different trucking.Accidental Trucker, 2013Maxx and Goodysnap Thank this.

Slow lane, with a full wallet.......

Fast lane hammer down, but cant pass a fuel island.......Midwest Trucker Thanks this.

Are you pretty maxed out at 80,000lbs or can you still get good mileage up between 100-120k ?

Also, I’m jealous of those numbers - here’s a good day for me.

 Midwest Trucker Thanks this.

Maxed at 80k. Your type of trucking is entirely different from what I understand though?. My fleet average is 7.7 right now and that’s about half the trucks running 70 mph and half running 75. (The ones that go west). Van and reefer.

Ha, 7.7! -and I was proud of my 5.7 Kwhopper_jr and Midwest Trucker Thank this. Kwhopper_jr and Midwest Trucker Thank this.

My trucks look great for being a fleet but I love the way your truck looks for being an owner op. I hate that fuel prices are intentionally being raised to force lower efficiency trucks and vehicles out. Feels like another freedom removed. If I was still driving I think I’d probably run my Dads 96 W9 with the N14 or maybe fix up his 1984 Pete with the 3408! I think he said that truck got like 4 mpg tho! lol Here’s my omnitrac.

2013Maxx Thanks this. 2013Maxx Thanks this.
