    I’ve seen partially plugged EGR coolers cause this code.

    In case anyone is wondering, I finally fixed it. I found the issue was the EGR diff pressure sensor had wires rubbed together about 6 inches from the connector, dropping the signal voltage and making it read incorrect. fixed wiring and never seen this code again on this unit.
