Great input. When did you purchase the truck and how many miles does she have? I'll be picking mine up in two weeks.
Yes it is x15 performance I usually shift hearing the engine when it needs it usually it's those rpms
When I shift on 1800 rpm is usually a hill 1650 on flat ground shifting at 1400 to 1500 is just lugging the engine drop your rpms too low those rpms are good when just driving your normal speed coasting it I usually listen to the engine
1600 plus is what the Aussies say hauling the trains... Rawze.com, they are there, ask Rawze for an invite. Just don't lug that SOB, or you will be doing an in frame in short order. The liner issues are still there. Ramp her up!
The X15 is a CM-2350 motor with a tad bit higher compression and the fuel pump in isolation. If you are going to run the emissions and not do the African Tune, install an oil by pass filter. Change oil between 15,000 and 20,000 miles. The heavier you roll, cut the service intervals back, 12,000 to 15,000 miles. The by pass filter is what will save your bacon. Oil, regular Rotella. By pass filter... AMSOIL Heavy-Duty Bypass Filter System for Heavy Equipment
