Great input. When did you purchase the truck and how many miles does she have?

Can anyone tell me which oil is called out in the Cummins manual for the X15 performance engine?

1600 plus is what the Aussies say hauling the trains... Rawze.com, they are there, ask Rawze for an invite. Just don't lug that SOB, or you will be doing an in frame in short order. The liner issues are still there. Ramp her up!Hegemeister Thanks this.

The X15 is a CM-2350 motor with a tad bit higher compression and the fuel pump in isolation. If you are going to run the emissions and not do the African Tune, install an oil by pass filter. Change oil between 15,000 and 20,000 miles. The heavier you roll, cut the service intervals back, 12,000 to 15,000 miles. The by pass filter is what will save your bacon. Oil, regular Rotella.
By pass filter... AMSOIL Heavy-Duty Bypass Filter System for Heavy EquipmentHegemeister Thanks this. -
