Sometimes I get 6.5 but I downshift before the truck needs it when going up a hill just to be the 1st on top lol or i step on it a little bit bring up to 75mph so I wont overall need to downshift on the hil truck is very strong with a 48k steel coil I feel like the truck is asking for more weight i drive my 18spd transmission like a 13 depends if I start on a up hill from 0 heavy loaded I'll use the splitter on the low gears, with the weight we're all hauling 80k or less I dont think we need a 18spd imo but it's fun to have itKB3MMX, xiipercent and Hegemeister Thank this. -
Alright men, today my X15 is in the shop. Stop engine light, torque derate and 6 active codes for low fuel rail pressure. Shop says its probably a pump or injector. Just barely turned 20k miles. Been running/pulling great up until now. Good part is they say they have the parts in stock though it may be Monday before they can get to it. We just loaded a scraper this morning in IL headed for UT. #### it. X15 performance, 605/2050 in a 2019 wide hood. I'll keep you posted.
KB3MMX, mhyn, 2CAN and 1 other person Thank this. -
Check your fuel filter they say they're good for 50k miles but once I get 15k to 20k miles on them my fuel gage turns the light red and the Hg pressure goes up to 15 to 18 as soon as I change it it's all good I do my service every 18k to 20k miles with synthetic blend and I change fuel filter with it so.im good on timing I have 53k miles on it thank God knocking on wood nothing happens been great so farKB3MMX Thanks this. -
Did you finally pick up your w9? How you liking it?KB3MMX Thanks this. -
Been running 25k intervals on PMs.
Around 12-15k the paper fuel filter is clogged and MPGs drop...
I can also attest to the 1600 sweet spot, especially if loaded. 78k this past week.
@1450/70mph I was around 4.7mpg
@1600/75mph I was around 5.3mpgKB3MMX Thanks this. -

I have 5500 miles and my fuel filter guage is up to 15 pulling a grade. Ahhhhhh! Hoping it's just crap in the tanks from manufacturing and it should get better. Dont want to be doing roadside filter changes in between PMs.KB3MMX Thanks this.
