Yes, they will show up in hair tests, but the standard 7-panel drug tests don't search for them. I speak from experience, my last employer tested us every year and I was on Xanax for anxiety. It was not tested for.

This maybe true when it comes to a company drug test, however, should you be caught up in a crash investigation AND you show any kind of impairment, even your prescription drugs, if they are detected in a urine test, will cause you to be charged with DUI. A Dr.'s prescription does not give you a legal defense when it comes to driving and taking meds.
