    Hot spot.

I did tether thru my laptop when I was using millencom 3g stick. But again im home more so I dropped mellinicom and upped my verizo data. Mellinicom uses verizons network. And uses 4g now.

My phone worked fine using hotspot. It comes with the Verizon package now.

As far as a console, it's really user preference. Ps3 and Xbox 360 are both currently being supported game wise and would be a cheaper initial investment. Ps4 and Xbox one will last longer while the others will be phased out eventually.

My ps4 and 24" flat screen use less than 300 w continuous. Personally I wouldn't go less than a 1000 w inverter to be safe.

Be careful about carrying a desktop computer in your truck. I had mine rigged up and it worked fine, but it was literally beat to death from all the vibrations. Gaming laptops are very capable these days.

I use verizon for internet, but still have my grandfathered unlimited plan. Imo verizon is the only network worth using out here, even if you have to go through millicent, or whatever it's called.

Just be sure to remember that gaming is at the bottom of the totem pole behind the job and adequate rest to perform it safely

If you don't already have a system, get a PS3, that way you get bluray playback.

One thing that you didn't mention was if it's an LCD TV or old style CRT.

LCD TV will definitely use less power.

Woot! My "slightly" modified Ps3 that allows me to play games off the hard drive will be super useful for this so I don't have to worry about scratching up the disks in the truck.
