I know most setups are: XM tuner, to radio, to headset.

Has anyone setup XM tuner straight to headset via bluetooth? I have a blue parrot 450whatever and would be nice to be able to use the buttons on the headset to tune the XM, though I understand it's probably not going to happen.

My XM Skyfi II has a headphone jack on the side, I routinely plug in headphones there and bypass going through the radio, although there is no volume control. I too have a blue parrott 450, the "programmable controls" are very limited and certainly didn't have XM in mind. The skyfi II has a remote control which is what I use if I am too lazy to reach the 18" to the instrument panel to change stations. I think current XM radios still have remotes, the Skyfi II is about 12 years old.

Ok thanks. I guessed I'll probably use a 3.5mm headphone/bluetooth transmitter. I have an old XM2go that I'm going to try and fire up.
