XM "No Antenna Connected or Damage Message"

    My XM radio was giving me that message a lot. I fiddled with the connection on the back of the radio and it stopped displaying the message. Guess it wasn't plugged in all the way.

    Where the antenna connects to the unit...wrap the band around unit which hold the connection in place.

    Weird enough, if I turn the unit upside down it works. No message of any sorts.

    Had the same problem once upon a time.

    have you moved the entire system lately? Had the radio off the base for a bit and maybe it got jostled? Apparently the guts of the thing aren't as sturdy as they might otherwise be. Like the connection from the antenna port to the board inside.

    A place I go to off of amazon can fix them for like $50. Good service from these folks.
