Dont think they have all the same channels now do they?? I have sirius and since the merge they have changed about 10 channels or so on my end. An also changed over some of sirius channels over to xm. I personally liked sirius's lineup and music selection and dj's compared to xm's. I was always bored outta my mind with xm and have always loved sirius.

I have XM and they changed some of the channels.
Sirius and XM are mixing channels. -
They are screwing it up big time....
They took away my Buzzsaw and replaced it with Boneyard, which is playing AC/DC 24 hrs a day.... They also took away sirius 70's and 80's channel and put xm's 70's and 80's channel on and they stink!

I used to have Sirius and their music channels are the better of the two and it seems for the most part they are taking Sirius music channels over XM music channels. I switched to XM this past June because I'm a CSPAN junkie and Sirius couldn't come to terms on a new contract with CSPAN while XM just signed a new 5 year contract with them. I've seen a lot of XM channels replaced with Sirius channels on the music side, on the news/talk side I've seen the XM channels stay pretty much untouched. I think in the end this will wind up being a net gain for subscribers to both, and hopefully it will secure a long future for both companies. I always thought Sirius had better reception but they both use the same antennas. I actually use the Sirius antenna on my XM unit. Now if only they could improve the portable XM receiver, that thing has lousy reception and terrible battery life unless you are listening to recorded shows or music off the memory.

Let the debate begin I suppose. I just hope I don't open a can of worms on this one.
I like my music like I like my buffet's: full of variety.I like most genre's except Country, Christian Rock, or the same top 40 Sean Paul, Lady Gaga BS. I'm a big fan of all genre's rock, alternative, classic rock, techno and all of it's different genres, hip-hop old and new and just about everything in between. Enjoy good talk radio as well (Conservative radio, comedy etc.) What's my best choice. I know it's a vague question, but what are your experiences between the two
btw. No offense to those of you that enjoy country and christian rock or top 40, just not my cup of tea -
There's a difference now? I haven't found anything exclusive about either of them honestly since Sirius bought XM.

Dude, in case you didn't get the memo, they merged almost a year ago. The music stations are exactly the same. The only difference between the two services is the channel numbers. -
