I've been looking for a percentage schedule myself, for a while. I've done a lot of arithmetic, as well. Truck companies all do the same thing, because they need a certain amount of money for themselves. I'm good with that, it's business, but for me it's all about the bottom line, annual net income.
Plus, I live in Rio Rancho, NM, a town that has a covenant against truck/trailer parking anywhere, even private residences. I could build an 8' block wall around my corner lot and meet the covenant, but I won't be doing that. So a place to put the truck is a big expense so far.
Anyway, Conway pays almost all of the line items and the net is not bad, and they have a terminal 1/2hr from my place. Still looking, and I've got some new leads on companies running west-east. Best, Trucker2

I think there is a difference between XPO Conway ...and XPO Express ....
-
I think you're right, paul. I called XPO Express, they never returned. I lost interest, but who knows, maybe I'll let them not respond to another call!
paul_4lp Thanks this. -
Ok so do any of you know if I could join XPO straight into a lease or do I have to the whole company driver thing first
-
I drive company for xpo/ conway. I was told that they don't use quality anymore. That now they only use a company called pathway leasing.
paul_4lp Thanks this. -
Xpo Logistics vs truckload is probably where the confusion is happening. I am leased to the Truckload division. We were formerly Conway Truckload. XPO Logistics does have other divisions with different pay programs.
