As a backup, I recently purchased a replacement xy shifter for my eaton ultrashift, used. I bought part "A-7034" which I soon found out is for a gen2 (dm2) transmission. But I have a gen3 (dm3) in my truck.
Just looking at photos, they look about the same. I have looked up part numbers on the position sensors and they are the same sensor on both gen2 and gen3.
Does anyone know if I can use this shifter on my gen3?
