Yet again, need help. What's worth doing in Alabama?

Long story short, can either go company or o/o if it's worth it. Considering getting truck and getting on with a home daily company under their authority.

Based out of Memphis,but need to move to Alabama (outside of Birmingham) soon. Have no idea what local companies are there so here I ask.

Currently doing a local intermodal gig still ( previous efforts to jump ship failed). I want to keep my home daily lifestyle or at the most be home a day or two a week and off on set days.

I'm in a position to get a used truck + have funds set aside for motor replacement .( Yes I know what comes with owning a truck)

Family is important, I can't be gone weeks at a time.
No endorsements,just a clean driving record and 7+ years experience.
