Yet another lease question for OO's

I'm at Hill Bros I get .955 per mile plus DOE FSC for all mi's I only pay $50.00 a year for prepass, toll transponders. No fuel card fees, or scaning fees. I have paid off 2 trk's here working on a 3rd. Yet after all expenses my net for 2012 was 85k for the truck I drive. Not many company drivers make that. It all depends on what you want and your work ethic and financial discipline as well as a good company. There is several drivers a year that get the titles to the trucks. So not all lease programs are rip off's. Just my experience for what it's worth.

 

Not all leases are that way i have the option of where when and by whom trk is repaired or if i so desire do it myself. The trucks are purchased out right and you can even order the truck yourself, chrome lights custom paint , interior, engine trans combo, as far as freight i decide what load i take i'm not under a forced dispatch system. So before you paint all lease purchase programs with a broad brush stroke everyone needs to do a little research. Their are some good companies out there that want you to be successful at least 10 drivers got the titles to there trucks last year doesn't sound like much but also not a very big carrier
