Up to 3 days otherwise they will re assign it,also if you are at a terminal and they don't have trucks, ask around to see which terminals DO have trucks and ask them to bus you there

Swifts policy as I remember says 1-3 days TAH you can take truck if you are outside of 50 or 75 miles (Something like that), more than 3 days truck has to be returned to terminal. Been a little over a year and things do change from time to time.

Swift does not like you to stay 4 days?

2 weeks if OTR I stay out any where from 18 to 20ish days out. Some times if I feel squirrely i'll stay out 30 days just depends if they keep, Me west of I-35 then I stay out longer. I hate east coast. 1 week out nets you 1 day off pretty much standard for most otr companies.

Yep, depends on if you are running 48, regional, or dedicated. The guy I trained with is an o/o and is back in C'bus every night. West Jeff to Buffalo and back everyday, 4-5 days a week. Talk about rolling up the miles; 750-800 a day.

I ran regional and tried to get home weekly. But really, quality home time, being more than a 34 hour restart only happened once every 5-6 weeks. They did get me through the house weekly though; however, was not enough for my family.

I want to stay out 4 weeks so I don't spend money (no wife, no kids, no life) and then get 4 days off to drive my bike and eat well... I want to work out of So Cali and the reason I like Swift is because they have terminals EVERYWHERE...
What do you think? Doable? or am I expecting too much?
