I wonder how tall that bridge was
-
That bridge is owned by the KCS RR. Back in the late 80's early 90's a guy that worked for my great uncle who owned a asphalt paving company slammed into that very same bridge after the ####### was driving through town after dumping a load with the bed still raised. I will have to look around and see in I still have the newspaper artical. I haven't been in that part of town in a while but I believe the bridge is somewhere in the neighborhood of 12'. They are saying the Swift driver is not at fault as it was still dark out and raining so hard he couldn't see the bridge altogether.

or they could create jobs by having a guy twirl that sign all day and night so you can't miss it. Well, you know unless there was a really big twirl or it was upside down or something. But think about it, you'd create somewhere like 4 jobs per low clearance sign. I should run for office, I'm full of great ideas.
rodzilla and Rollover the Original Thank this.
