York to Sanden conversion

    MJ told me they done this coversion on his W900 with the N14 Shooter. Said they still used the same drier, just had to get different ends on the compressor lines.

    He's knows exactly what will work for yours he said.

    This has been on my list of things I want to do to my truck for years someday maybe I'll get around to it.

    As for the hoses I would think a good hose shop should be able to make them, but I haven't checked into it.

    Check out a company called APair.com. They specialize in ac parts & have these conversion kits. I was looking at them for my Detroit.

    I have done it on 2004 freightliner century with series 60 14l engine. I bought the oem bracket and hoses from Fisher's junkyard - $250. the compressor I bought at ebay. $500-600 total. There is no need to change other components on a/c system.
