I was wondering how everyone handles bs like this.
You know when the store your at has cars parked all over the place overnight but 1 truck is too many.
Or your on a public street or a deadend and they want you to move.

There's generally a good reason for that. Many parking lots aren't rated for 80,000 pounds (such parking lots are more expensive to make) & degrade much quicker due to the extra wear and tear a semi causes just by sitting there.

What can you do but move.Does'nt do any good to argue. They're right and you're wrong.I've argued a few times over parking issues.I see nothing wrong with it as long as you're not in the way.But more ppl then not thinks trks are an eyesoar.

trying not to sound like a jerk, but I don't stay there. it's their stuff / store, it's their right. How would you like it if someone parked in your driveway and / or front yard. "but hey, man.....there's cars all over the place"!!??
Honestly, I try to know where I'm gonna park before I roll out in the morning. Believe it or not, I know where I'm gonna park for the next 4 days.

An empty truck still weighs more than a dozen cars in one small, concentrated spot.

Edit: And that's just the bobtail... then add in the trailer.

Some are just complete jerks about telling u to move. Also if they get tired of telling truckers to move then they should invest some of their profits in putting no trk parking signs in place.I for one take those signs seriously.

The same as if I were in a car. I would move. The only other option you have is get into trouble and I think I will pass on that. Just ensure you have a good place to park. I had a police officer wake me up once and asked why I stopped there and parked. I told him I almost fell asleep and needed to find a place to catch a few winks. It was private property, but he told to I was smart to pull off and be safe, just to move as soon as I had enough sleep, but I went ahead and moved anyway.

Well the price of cleaning up the garbage and pee bottles probably discourages anyone from letting us park. Not to mention oil running all over lot, we all see that at the truckstop along with pee bottles, ziplock bags, blown tires, pallets, and other miscellaneous garbage. Sadly we complain about our own problem. I'm not saying everyone does that, but there sure is an awful lot that does. If someone asks you to move, just tell them thanks and move along.

Remember that it is private property so is a truck stop and all of them do have the right to say who does and who does not get to park there .. No reason needs to be given . Just a no is all they need to say.
