There is a M button there. That's manual mode.
I don't dare sprout the rest of it. You have to go into bobtail, pick manual mode and play with her until she rides the way you like it at your will in the gear you want.
You driven Volvo?

Give me 10 minutes bobtail in a 3 acre lot, then we all will know eh?
Sometimes that is exactly what we did at the auction house with the then newer generation of autos Idrives etc.
Im not too proud to admit I don't know. But I do want that thing for a few minutes in private out back to learn it though. To see its worth a ####.WesternPlains and tucker Thank this. -
I don’t have any steep hills on my route so I’ve never needed to shift it manually.x1Heavy and WesternPlains Thank this.

If it’s an Ishift you can hold the + button to prevent a down shift or the - button to prevent an upshift. Putting it in manual will work too. On the rear of the box, on top, of it’s the premium shifter, you’ll see an e/p button. That is the eco and power settings. I’d leave it in eco most of the time unless you need to cross 4 lanes of traffic real quick.
The box also has an L button on the lower rear for limp home in case there is some sort of transmission failure.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I'm with you x1... I'd like 10 minutes with it out behind my house on a private lot.
