Okay here goes all you guy's and complaing here, ever wonder why they send you on a greyhound too there terminal , they figure if you can handle a 23 hour ride with stuff from the overhead falling on you, crying baby's and that porta john ,stinking up the place , cause the door wont stay shut, , that why, so the next time somebody complains about noise, i'll just reach in my back in back pocket and hand them a greyhound ticket, lmao :biggrin_25522::yes2557::biggrin_25523:

This whole issue is rarely a problem in Texas. The flatbed drivers must get a special permit to park wherever they feel like parking. Rarely in an actual parking spot!

I actually do try to either park next to other reefer trucks or guys that are idling when possible as to not disturb another drivers rest. If the lot is full, then I guess it's tough luck.

I once parked next to one of those Swift 'Owner Ops', with a Dry Load and turned on my Reefer.

Well i don't care WHO parks next to me. If it be a reefer truck, bullhauler or what have you. It is not their job to keep ME happy, it is my own. So if I am not pleased, then i will move to another spot, because I'm a big boy and can handle the situation as one. That reefer truck HAS to run or else the food spoils, just like you HAVE to chain down or strap down your load because it will fall off if you don't. Like I said in another almost identical thread, maybe he parked out in the back by you, so he didn't bother all the OTHER drivers in the lot. Upsetting 1 truck is a lot less of an inconsiderate move than pissing off 30 trucks.

Pull into the parking space nose first (don't be scared to) and you won't hear the reefers.
