The answer to the question has been posted but to repeat it. DAC has nothing to do with it. A new company is required to look back 10 years of driving or 3 years of resumes. They are looking for failed or refused Drug test. Your company reported you to their drug testing group. You have to take the classes before anyone can hire you. If by some chance you slip through the cracks and anything bad happens you will be held criminally liable for it. Say someone is drunk and hits you while you are parked and in the sleeper. You still could be held liable. Normally, I do not believe in volunteering information but you must make sure they are aware of it.

    #### driving - that's simply the name of the game. I'd rather make decent pay and work almost entirely alone. Isn't anything more satisfying than that last point. The nature of the beast is just that - nature. It's the side / ancillary perks that make the job truly worth it.

Good for you, guy. And i mean that. Genuinely.
I enjoy my adult beverages; sometimes many of them...... in rapid succession.
However - I know, understand and don't violate the 'rules'. As said above - I'd rather work alone and to disregard the rules might prevent that... So no - I'm sober on the job. Always will be, no matter how F'ed things get in the personal realm.

We're about the same age, fyi. (32)

I'd have to agree with @Diggler. This is a job you have to want to do. Otherwise, the odds are against you from the start.

    Diggler and G13Tomcat Thank this.
