Lately.... I’ve been getting many phone calls that I’m having to tell people to adjust their headset. These are people in offices. Some I just say I didn’t hear a word they said. Or some.... all I get is mumbling. They adjust then I can actually hear their words. I expect they’re on those short non boom mikes. Are you finding more of this lately? I have an excellent headset. It’s the plantronics with full ear covering and boom mike. Even considered trying another. I’m afraid all I’m thinking of is trying to cure something only the other persons can cure.
I think this is a problem we'll always have with cell phones and headsets/bluetooth. I think it's human nature to kind of forget you're wearing a headset after you wear one for awhile. I'd say a majority of conversations I have with anyone start with one party or the other saying "Can you hear me? Can you hear me now?" It's either I've got a bad signal and need to move or walk outside or whatever or they do, or somebody needs to adjust their headset or turn it up. I fold mine up on my head when not using it because I'm eating or drinking something half the time when I'm driving.
