Road King 56 for my mobile...just the way I sound and the way it feels in my hand cant be beat. I vary on the base, sometimes a stock SRA-158, or RF Limited EC2018 Extreme, or an Astatic D104-M6.

Best Mic?..........One that works.........RK 56 I like the best...Just wish they would up-grade their cords, or start using more solder on the wires where they connect to the radio plug...

I really like, and have had the best luck, with the Astatic 636L mics.

u should put a zip tie on the cord where it plugs into the radio,it keeps the wires from pulling out.
