I had a similar pickup from a stone cutter in Miami. Bunch of Cubans. Loaded up a full truck, ask for my bills. "Que??"

    Right.

Always ask for the paperwork FIRST. Chances are everything will stop right there.

That isn't the problem--the issue is that we seem to have different definitions of "drained."

It's all easy load and unload until you have a box of US mail come off it's pallet.

They're called Gaylords(giggity) it's a cardboard open top bin on a pallet they just chuck stuff in. Sometimes they don't properly glue the bin to the pallet. People's mail littered allover your box.

I got a new one for drop off. South Carolina, summer. About 1,000 degrees in my box and my pallet jack starts spewing it's fluid. Ain't nobody offer to lend me there's or a forklift so 5 hours of moving lawnmower parts from pallets in my truck to pallets on the dock.

I'm out of action until I replace my Jack and I'm going to invest in rigging a window AC to my box for such conditions. If it's stupid but it works...

Can’t compare to you guys, but I do remember last summer delivering to a super small sausage plant in Vernon, CA. Had to back in off the street, through their parking lot and between the generator and their storage trailer.

The manager then complained that the pork I delivered was 34 degrees, not 33 like he ordered. Mind you the only place to open the doors without hitting something was the edge of the lot prior to backing in and it’s 105 outside.

I’ll find a pic and show you what I mean. Looking back, it wasn’t really all that hard but considering it was one of my first runs solo, yeah. Lmao

The red was cars, the storage trailer and other vehicles just parked randomly around. You had to come in east bound to even deliver lmao.

You can't believe how steep that ramp is. No room to operate either due to the sidewalk in front. Made for box trucks.
