Took an old Med. duty single axle Heating oil delivery truck out of a property; I had torched the top off it,
and filled the tank partitions with all kinds of steel scrap from cut up old vehicles on this jobsite.
The guy had cleared the land, and built the driveway by himself.
Came to a 90 deg. left hand bend, and started around and the corner,
and I then find out the roadbed on the outside of the corner was filled in with - wood chips??
Not weight friendly. It was going over.
I floored it, and swung hard right towards the woods, and got it level, and cut back left into the road.
I think the front left steer was a foot off the ground; can't really say.
Had to stop at the end of the road and get my heartrate back down.

The one I picked up my first day of trucking. Pick up was on Elm Street, delivery was Crystal Lake. In the dark both stops. Every time I tried to sleep I had nightmares. And I kept hearing strange noises while I was awake. At least I got to take a quick dip at the delivery. But I don't know if I'd ever go back there.
