My apologies. I reacted and responded to the first post.
It is very frustrating when people ask questions and put 0 info out for you.

To answer your question the Mack looks to be the better truck in my opinion.
The e7 350 are great on fuel and last forever.

Based on the info provided, I would go that way too.

The Freightshaker even has less miles apparently.

That one still has to be considerably gentler than the spring ride single screw I’ve been in for 11 years.

That doesn't look bad for 15k, if it runs well out of the gate.

You'll need to fuel a couple times/week with the small tanks.

I'm not a big fan of Freightliner. They are a cheap truck IMO. Personally, I'd still go with the Mack.

All that being said, the main truck I drive is a '95 FL Classic. It's a ok truck but not Mack, KW, or Pete quality. I think the reason this truck is a decent truck is it's been babied since it was new.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

About the whole fuel efficiency thing. It's absolutely the driver for most of it. I drove a RD Mack with an E7-350 and got 5 or so local. Another guy did the same with the same basic truck and he was getting 2. TWO!! He drove like a maniac and shifted at 2100 grabbing every gear even around the yard.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

    Add to the fuel efficiency....

I drive an 03 mack 600, e7 350, 566,000 miles. Pulling a tanker picking up farm milk 88,000 gross weight.

Stop lights, two lanes, big hills, idling and im still getting 5.1- 5.3mpg.
