    We use mostly Freightliners like that for Equipment Transport. They are tough, and can get into right places. Parts are readily available, mpg good, can be slow on the hills when heavy, but does not seem to be a real problem.
    10 speeds.

    The older original Macks were tough. Rough riding as well. But last forever.

    And dont write off Freightliner. I was of the same opinion until I bought the Columbia I have. Cheap plastic interior yes,.. but tough as nails work horse where it counts. Good money making truck when spec;d correctly for the specific job intended.
