Transmission oil and filter change interval for volvo is 500,000 miles. Cost at a dealership with labor etc runs a little under or over 375.00. I had them do it on the first one one(warranty runs to 750,000). You are right the Ishift is the best AMT out there. Driven Pete's and Internationals but the Volvo beats them hands down.

The engine runs extremely well, but the cups and injectors are an issue with most older Volvo's. You have to be aware of that and plan for it. But the newer common rail engines have been pretty much trouble free according to what my volvo service has said. Very few problems.

Read the fine print, Volvo does not cover 750k miles warranty for I-Shift , if D13 motors is set to max power 485-500HP. I remember reading this info posted by "2016 Volvo Junk" bellow from his personal experience.
Replacing I-shift with manual transmission 10/13/18 ? Is it possible?
