Had an interview with DF now I’m wondering if it’s worth the move. It’s a way smaller company and non union idk maybe it’s some drivers here that works there who knows if it’s worth the move.

YRC is changing their name back to Yellow. Think it will take more than that to save them.

YRC keeps overhauling engines and transmissions until they have something like 3.5 million miles before they are finally retired. The best part of YRC would be the Health insurance. If health insurance is not a high priority item then I would stay away from them.

As a former union guy, just do yourself a favor and go to dayton. That pension is gonna be dead by the time you try to retire. Yrc might have the slight edge on health insurance, but dayton is better every other way.

My friend works at Dayton and he has no bad things to say. They really take care of their guys and equipment.

I don’t know much about YRC but their equipment looks like junk.

Make a list of pro/con of each company, rate the importance of each item, what you gain by leaving, what you gain by staying.
