I saw this posted on Indeed and it caught my attention because I have less than 1 year of CDL A experience (more B experience). I am ready to switch careers at 50 and I looked on their drive4yrc.com website and see that they have a Driver Development Training program for drivers with less than 1 year experience but wasn't mentioned in the job listing so was wondering is that part of this job since they have Road Driver jobs posted same location with at least 1 year experience required. They list hourly pay and mileage pay so I assume you get paid in combination.
It doesn't specify home time but says that its driving terminal to terminal so is it OTR or regional work?
I don't have to be home everyday but don't want to be out more than a few days because of family. I really really want to get back into transportation and am willing to start at the bottom and work weird hours (last career did) just want to try to be a good fit.

Yes that is the terminal that had the job listed. I am working on getting all my endorsements before applying. I didn't notice at first but they require all 3 from the applicants.

Lonesome Thanks this. -
The Chicago Heights or as YRC calls it terminal #309 is one of the largest terminals in the nation. There is always plenty of work. You will start out running on a sleeper team so be prepared to be on the road for 3-5 days starting out.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
I think I can do 3-5 days out if that what it takes. It'll give my wife a break from me lol
