Hey Rebel how's things been going for you lately at YRC in Richland? Have you been getting decent miles? I've been offered a position as a road driver to start next Tuesday. Trying to gauge how the bottom guys are doing over there. Did almost 2 years at Conway/XPO so I know how up and down it can be for guy at the bottom of the totem pole.

It's going pretty good we been running a lot. You will most likely run at least 2 to 3 team runs a week. Teams go to orlando tampa miami fl or Burlington CA on Avg I bring home a 1000 a week.

Sounds good thanks for the reply. Yeah I actually have offers from 2 companies. The other would probably be a more consistent schedule bringing home about $750 a week. But thinking long term YRC seems like it'd be the better choice with the added benefits. Teams don't sound half bad pulling in a grand a week lol

They tell you is a 30 day wait for benefits but it's actually 90. I think it's a ok company you will hear from the older guys how much they hate yrc now how much it sucks they all have there reasons I'm sure but I don't really listen to it. My only complaint is hate running teams lol other than that you do your job get the freight from point a to point b they don't bother you bud.

When you start, they have you fill out direct deposit forms to get paid. One problem, somehow if you list more than one account, financial institution, the payroll department only gets the first one. You need to call and give them the info, or fax a form to payroll that each terminal has. And the phone number on the bottom of the form is wrong, but for some reason they won't change it. When you call that number, the guy will give you the correct number to call. The first payroll for me went all in the wrong account, but they fixed it pronto. 2 weeks holdback to get the first check.
