I'm a Teamster ever have them steal your pension plan? LOL Coporations and unions suck no difference. Leadership and integrity is lacking with both. BTW Teamsters charge us 115 a week for our insurance and we have to take it even if the wife's is cheaper. I guess it depends on what company you work for. Usually Teamsters only care about UPS and ABFand not about the smaller companies they represent. Just because it says union doesn't mean they're all the same. Need to do your due diligence.

HA! Nothing ever changes.....Years ago (back in the early/mid ‘70’s) the old Overdrive magazine did an article about Yellow equipment. They went into an L.A. terminal and took pics of a GMC Astro line tractor and some trailers. Same items as in these pics just 45 years ago.

If one worked at a YRC company in a small town with two YRC owned company's in the same area. I would study up on what happens when a merger of local operations happens.

At FedEx Freight, most trailers have grease all over the the brake shoes and drums.
DOT violation... CSA points for driver.

Rarely anyone pre and post trips.

YRC always hiring like Central Transport.

Central Transport offering $15k sign on.

    These are the clues folks.
Good cos rarely hire. The employees dont leave and they refer new hires.

XPO lost 28% on there stock so what. Bad year for everyone. And ltl means making 30 to 50 stops a day in the city so yes the equipment gets tore up. It's not waddling to the truck stop for your daily feeding.

It the equipment gets tore up it needs to be fixed before getting back on the road. It doesn't matter if you do 100 stops a day. If the truck is not safe and legal, keep it off of the road.

And you have to know how to shift gears and use a hand dolly, Forklift ,Pallet jack And work. That would cut 90% of the super truckers that live on this site out. Most of you would not last a week, I have seen hundreds of otr drivers come and go in our barn.
