You're confusing seniority with favoritism

 

. OMG you’re a barrel of laughs. You must think your talking to the unwashed masses there is plenty of us who have experienced the fustercluck of a union shop. I’ve also had the pleasure of great run union shops.

Not at all. I've seen a lot of favoritism in the 3 unions I've belonged to They gave the job to the old guy, with less seniority, because he was friends with the BA. Or the union would say" well, he's the older guy, he can't work the same job that you do", but he get's the same pay.

 

So I guess all of the non union shops you worked at were great, if so run over to Central Transport , they hire on a continual basis.

 

No they didn't. that's where the rules come in , if that happened and you did nothing then it's your fault, Ive held many stewards and ba's feet to the fire.

 

Didn't say that at all, every job has downfalls, even union jobs. I worked at Central Transport, when they were Teamsters. One of the union jobs where favoritism was in place. But then I guess you'll say Central was never Teamster.
