you quit a job basically "on the spot" and by now, you have probably been DAC'd because of it..many companies move fast on this. you were given at least 3 options, wait and stick it out, go to a motel room, or quit......you chose to quit, instead of bucking up and doing the motel option, or at the very least, you could have told your trainer to take care of his stuff. you had no coconuts.....and this is common among newbies, you are all so afraid to speak up when you should, and put tail between legs and whimper away...

i highly suggest you get a copy of your DAC.

since you fill out applications, i am sure you are stating where you just quit from...whether or not you give any reason(s) is not important to them, but the way you quit, on the spot, no notice and during training.....

it probably also got entered into your DAC profile, "not rehire-able" as well, and you nailed your own coffin shut.

the world of trucking is not a bed of roses, you saw this and you bailed out. this will count HIGHLY against you because now the other companies will think, "HHhhmmmmm, if we hire this guy and spend nearly $5,000 for him recruiting him, and he bails on us, WE WILL BE in the hole for his recruitment costs"....."we think we can blow him off for now, and he will go away"....

you will now have a very long and difficult road to transverse.

i also highly suggest you contact your former school and ask for refresher training NOW, while you can, and be sure to get proof you went through this.

you are getting the "blow off" from the places you are applying to...after all, in your applications, you are saying you left (quit) your job after only a short time....and this is absolutely no good for you.

Really??? It's never happened to me.

Most of the time you "just run across" good deals. Right place right time.
