I am in the market for a used dry van trailer. I was wondering what is meant by the term "z plate"?

Any suggestions on what to look for when shopping would also be appreciated.

Judging from the prices I've seen thus far, I must say that these places that sell trailers are VERY proud of them! :biggrin_25521:

    Thanks

z plate is describing the construction of the walls. they are laminated for strength and assembled modularly so repairs are supposed to be easier and quicker.

this is how they describe it, I have no personal experience to give you a good/bad on construction. more familiar with older reefers myself.
