I will be going on Monday for a refresher at the Richmond, IN school since I don't feel the need to pay any other school or my original school another $3000-$6000 for a refresher. I got my CDL in '05, but couldn't get hired out of school because of a blemish on my MVR, I got married, had kids, moved, etc. . . . Now, I am in a position to get into driving and CRE is not only "free", but they have been the only option out of 20+ companies I have talked to in the last few weeks.
I've read the good and bad about them, and I have my own opinions why others say what they do about CRE. But, the bottom line is, you time with any company can be good or bad, it depends on your own attitude and how you deal with the situation. No one else's fault but their own if it sucks, lol. I'm going into it with an open mind and thick skin. . . . and the ability to refuse a lease deal lol. I'm already making payments on one vehicle, I don't need another unless it's a new TDI VW lol.cuzzin it and JCB & Associates Thank this. -
Yea I will tell you how it turns out later. I am just starting.
I also have enjoyed a good vw tdi.
I will be leasing a truck and contracting with England, but I have done it before, so I am not worried how it will turn out.
I am bet you will be able to become a company driver. They will probably want you to team up, but I would guess you can go solo eventually. -
I'm leaving the thirtieth of this month on the zero tuition, 6 month commitment.

I'm on my 4th day in the refresher class and it hasn't been too bad. The 3 days of rules and safety will wear you down, but that all changes when you finally get in the truck.
JCB & Associates Thanks this. -
