I had one of there recruiters reach out to me two times so I finally decided to respond. He asked me to fill out an application after he reviewed it he sent me over documents to fill out. They asked for a picture of my ssn, drivers license, medical card, while making a fake offer letter and consent to background check and to do a drug Test. He scheduled a second interview with the tm of Sacramento I was under the impression I was offered the job seeing they gave me an offer letter of employment. However I drove 3 hours of my day one way to this interview after this interview I had to wait one month for a decision from the terminal manager that he was going with another candidate my best advice is be very careful around this company they make false offers to steal your identity that is called fraud.!!

Pros

Absolutely nothing about this company

Cons

The make false offers to steal your personal information

Has turned into a part time job. For 3 months now you get called off for a day a week because management doesn’t want to do their job and lay people off and the rehire when busy. THATS YOU FRIGGIN JOB, DO IT. No Ot until 50 hours but they won’t let you reach that for any reason. Start most of work force at 10:00 and then complain that you miss deliveries and pickups, needless to say we are losing customers daily. Overall worst job I have had in driving career, you don’t want to work here. They always promote from within so problems never get fixed, they just get passed from generation to generation.

Pros

Radios usually work in trucks

Cons

Regional management regional management regional management

For a logistics company they sure fail at most of it. They send driver to pick up loads with NO info beyond maybe the weight. I'm sorry this is a multi-state business that ships more than one package a day with multiple carriers, if you can't be bothered to tell your drivers what they are picking up you shouldn't be sending them.

Pros

They do show up eventually.

Cons

Their communication is garbage and how they treat customers isnt much better.

3 reasons AAA Cooper is not a good job

3 reasons AAA Cooper is not a good job

1. A camera is mounted in the cab and pointed at the driver. Makes for a long uncomfortable drive every day.

2. insurance plan is unusually terrible. You're pretty much on your own as you contribute to your own healthcare savings account and avoid going to the doctor or getting any procedures done.

3. Company contributes only about $1,300 a year to your retirement account. If you work 30 years you will have only about 39k to retire on. That's less than a years earnings so you end up working until you die.

Good points: Once a year they cook hot dogs for their employees.

AAA Cooper

Q: Hi, anyone have any good or bad info on AAA Cooper in Duncan SC? Thanks in advance

A: have a buddy of mine that works for them in Montgomery Alabama on the P&D side. I am sure not a lot of diff in the two. local trucks high mileage and breaks down and now they are beginning to install cameras in their fleet local and line haul.. He goes in about 8 or 9 in the morning and gets home about 9 at night and week ends off. decent benefits and everyone makes the same according to him. I guess it must be ok he has been there for several years. don't know if this helps any.
