To those that give bad reviews, are the ones that expect to be respected. In the beginning. You have to stay long enough to be able to judge before you give a review. I've been a company driver for going on eleven years.

Action is a great company to work for. I have been here 10 years as an owner operator. As far as people complaining on here you get what you put in. Be on time, do your job properly, communicate and you won't have any problems. I've been driving since 1986 and make more with Action than anywhere I've been. You get as little or much hometime as you want.

Pros

good money, great people , new equipment added , great people in the offices and shops

Cons

business can get slow but that's the economy, chemical hauling always has cyclical slow times

Action resources has gone down to the dogs. They have no work at all now. They have you dead heading 1200 miles back home due to no loads. OMG it over

Pros

Cons

No work

They will deceive you; they told me I would get paid a minimum of $1800.00 per week. I was out working for 3 weeks, and I just made 2000.00 during those 3 weeks out. Trucks are not maintained properly even when we ask to get them repaired, they don't care and want to keep going. Training was very good but then I was assigned to Utah and those people lie to you a lot and don't keep their word. Payroll is horrible, you have to keep calling them to be able to get paid. You get paid 2 weeks back so you have to keep track of everything you do because they will not pay for the work you have done. I don't recommend working with them.

Avoid Action Resources!

Avoid Action Resources!

The pay is very low and very inconsistant. Actually had a negative paycheck. Hometime is very inconsistant. If you do manage to make some money, you wont ever be home. Do yourself a favor, and drive for someone else. I worked for them for a year, and they put me into bankruptcy!!

Action Resources???

I spoke briefly with one of their drivers this past week. Don't have any real details for you other than he seemed happy with the hauls he's getting. He lives near our Tidewater Transit terminal in Decatur, AL, and actually parks his truck on our yard when he's home. I've seen him/his truck there during the week several times, as well as most weekends, so he apparently gets home some during the week at times. Action has a tank wash & they clean a lot of our chemical tankers. Been there several times, & the folks are always friendly & helpful. They seem to keep an ad on indeed.com looking for experienced drivers. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
