Tbh worked for the company for 5+ years its not like a crazy big company they try to get things done and never have an issue getting loads or work anytime I ask about hometime as long as i get my miles in they don't ask about it, tbh overall pretty solid company the equipment could be more better but it it'll get you home and pretty decent spec vs big company cookie cutter versions I've driven before
Currently enjoying my retirement after finishing with them be of luck to everyone out there on the road if I get bored ill give em a call and get back in the truck and roll again with em
Pros
home time, 1:1 coms , loads ready to go , good office amenities, in house shop
Cons
pay could be better but still decent for the work that you'll be doing

I pulled Alcatraz trailers for one of their dispatchers who owned his own truck. Still owes me thousands of dollars. Then I worked for Alcatraz for 1/2 a day. They put me in truck #1842, #### pos. I will send photos and a video down the line. The truck had several cracks in it. They said to drive it like this, and that If I get inspected, they’d fix it then! I said no way. They very reluctantly fixed it. Then after being dispatched, the trucks ac was inoperative/inconsistent, the cruise control was inoperative as well. Long story short, I quit when they refused to fix. The sad part is the owners drive $400,000 dollar Rolls Royce’s, and flaunt their wealth with no shame at all. But spend 250 bucks on a windshield? Like pulling teeth. And their shop is run by their eldest son who has an IQ hovering between guacamole and bean dip. And I do not enjoy bringing this up, but unfortunately the stigma on the Eastern European Slavic owned trucking companies is very very accurate at Alcatraz. They are CHEAP, deceitful, greedy folks, that repair their trucks with duct tape, gorilla glue, and as you’ll see in upcoming pictures, electrical tape on the dash to cover up 5 WARNING LIGHTS!!!!
So. Save yourself the frustration of dealing with these people.
GOOD RIDDANCE
PS: Can’t wait to hear what lies they’ll come up with in response.
Pros
That I made the decision to quit on day one!
Cons
Any and every thing you could imagine
