I work for MGI Amazon freight partner. The owners are wonderful the company is very professional. They respond to all of my concerns or questions. That being said the pay is ridiculously low.

Pros

Great owners, new equipment, the people I work with.

Cons

The pay, benefits

The two married girls that "run" a afp co., totally have a chip on their shoulder. Extreme micro management at its best. Don't answer the phone, can't leave a message cuz voice-mail is full, leaves you hanging, if u work nite shift one will text u in middle of the day and say u don't respond. They act like they know everything but really know nothing except what daddy tells them about trucking. If u question anything like the other reviews said, they won't schedule u, lie to you, one guy yesterday said he hasn't worked for 3 wks. Word is getting out, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. They'll treat u like your beneath them. Find out for yourself but you'll be sorry u wasted your time.

Amazon

Cons

The pay and the benefits are my issue! The job I love it. Seriously underpaid for what we do. If I'm not mistaken FedEx pays 29 an hour. UPS pay somewhere around 32.

Pros

Home time, the people I work with. The owner of the company.

Cons

Pay it's ridiculously low. Benefits almost non-existing the ones we do have just not enough coverage and overpriced

The person I worked for does not know how to run a trucking company and it should be obvious with the revolving doors she has on the trucks. It seemed great at first but than it just turns for the worst. Now that I have put my 2 weeks in she just stopped scheduling me. But said I have to work my full last 2 weeks to get all my pto. The only way to make any money is to work 5 days. The hours per hometime hours is horrible. They say it's equal but that's not true. The job itself is easy.

Pros

Don't work for this lady.

Cons

She's never been in a truck before. Never been a boss before. Doesn't know how to talk to people. Doesn't know basic math. The pay was crap and they think giving people bonus money that's taxed helps.
