Drove with them for 10 years, the equipment was fine. They double shift the trucks so if you have a good partner, you always got the same truck which was nice. They work you a lot of hours. The pay improved Last year during Covid. The trailers are old, they have a graveyard of 70's and 80' trailers in Adelanto where it seems they just pull stuff from. Night dispatch is a revolving door. They can't keep anyone in there besides the supervisors, and to get any help in dispatch you always wanted the supervisor.
Pros
Lots of Hours 60+ if you want it.
Newer trucks nothing older then 4 years old
dayshift dispatchers very helpful.
Solid pay with OT if you put in the hours.
Cons
Trailers old as the dirt they haul.
Nightshift dispatchers not helpful.
Huge pay variations in winter each year.
At 5 years you only get 2 paid holidays!
PTO is Hours not days so 24 Hrs is only 2.5 days off. not 3.

One of the worst companies to work for. Pay is above average so that gives them carte blanche to mistreat their drivers. Dispatch is unorganized and unprofessional.
Pros
Above average pay, alot of hours
Cons
They lie about the job, HOS and they cheat their drivers out pf pay

My relationship began and ended with the request of an Owner Operators packet. Beware. Read what you're signing. Apex have joined the brokers who ask YOU to sign your RIGHTS away to access the transaction records. It's not enough that you're giving up a high percentage of your money. But you can't even see the record to verify the size of the rip off. And yes I know a couple of happy drivers here. But I'm sure we can find some happy people on UNEMPLOYMENT too.
Pros
Professional and Courteous on the phone.
Cons
Wolves in Sheeps clothing.

Horrible company, crappy management and always firing for the most minuscule of reasons. No paid holidays don’t give you pto when you take it give it to you at the end of the year when they will probably fire you knowing it’s going to slow down so they don’t have to pay you it. Cameras on drivers absolutely no trust ( they are always spying on you ) trying to get your quarterly bonus no respect always putting stuff on your dac report crappy hours crappy trailers out the 70’s or 80’s that are always breaking…when it slows down during the last quarter you will be off more times then not completely destroying your check and they will not care…during COVID they had multiple confirmed cases amongst drivers and dispatchers didn’t tell anyone. This is a crap job with no perks no respect little home time.
Cons
Too many to list…really crappy place to work

One of the best places I have worked I have been here for 2 years and I still enjoy going to work. outside of the occasional sitting waiting to load or unload its great. The owner of this company is all about his drivers. If you ever have a problem you can go sit down with anyone in the company and talk no matter how high up they are and they will listen. On top of that having a retired chp dot inspector looking at our equipment ing every yard amd doing the bits making sire out equipment I safe to be driven
Pros
Newer trucks and there still replacing the older ones, good trailers for the most part, decent pay, lots of o.t. , job security unless you are endangering the life of your self or others,
Cons
I personally jave no conscience to say bout this company
