I talked to the recruiter ,told her I'm looking for a company that doesn't use internationals. She said we have other options we can put you in! They even have everyone in orientation tell them what kind of tractors they want, most went with kenworth, I said freightliner. So they gave everyone their trucks on Wednesday, except me they said they had a couple of freightliner in the shop and it would be a day or so. They had no intention of giving me a freightliner, at the last moment they gave me an international! After going around and around I took it, although I started to leave and ho home! Took 1 load home! Got a really good load leaving the house, in texas got to Alabama the truck broke down so they gave me a freightliner rental, that the APU didn't work neither could I connect my GPS to the truck and had to go to paper logs, I've never used paper logs. Took the truck to penske shop and they fix it to idle continuously, so that was one less problem. Instead of sending me to Tuscaloosa to repair the problem of connecting to the truck they sent me to Pennsylvania to deliver my load. Finally I get back to the yard in st Louis MO. They fix the connection problem. I drive this truck for about 2 weeks they tell me I will switch back to the international in Tuscaloosa Alabama while loaded, the GPS connection quits working again, back to paper logs until I switch to the international and they say after I drop the load they have another truck for me at the yard! So they have me pick up a load go to the office to switch trucks and finish delivery to Kansas, I get to the yard and nothing seems right, so the truck guy and the manager says we need to talk to you for a minute! So we go to the conference room and the manager, little man named Mark, says we expect 2000 miles a week here and your short of that and I'm like really your equipment breaks down all the time he looks at the truck guy who says yea he's had some truck issues so mark says let me get your break down reports if you will have a seat right out here, and I look at him and say that's not necessary, he looks baffled and asks why I said I'm cleaning out mt truck and going home, which I was going to do after I delivered that load anyway because I already had another job in Dallas! Which I'm pretty sure they knew because all these trucking companies use tenth street and can see when another company messages you and says I got your background back and it looks great I just need to set you up for a drug screen when you get back to texas! Same thing that happened at RTI. I'm pretty sure it's against the law for everyone to know what you're doing in your personal time as those messages are supposed to be for the company you're talking to and yourself. Not everyone else to be reading! Point to the story Artur express has crappie equipment period!
Pros
Fueling is easy, that's about it!
Cons
Equipment is crappie, they want you to take pictures every time you do a pretrip or post trip as well as fill out an in app questionnaire!

I drove for Artur for 3 years. I left for a local job, to be home more often. But for the 3 years I was there I averaged 26 to 3200 miles per week consistently, home whenever I asked and had a new truck after the first year.
Pros
Plenty of miles, long hauls, captain of the ship, great dispatch.
Cons
Penske so you know how that goes, but I know they are buying their own trucks now and switching over peterbuilts at that

They have crappy equipment. They haul mostly junk broker freight. The safety score is horrible. That’s because of the crappy drivers. They have some of the worst drivers in the country. And they are trying to force you and forcing people to let brokers track them with Mother using your phone, which is illegal. You do not have to let any trucking company to make you allow brokers to track your phone a.k.a. tracking the load. I know this company one time put out a Fleetline messy saying it was a mandatory for drivers to allow brokers to use your phone for tracking but once again this is illegal. If you need to, you can file a complaint with the federal motor care, safety association. On both the trucking company and the broker. I know this company here was making an extra $250 per load while making their drivers allow brokers to use their personal phones for tracking. I think a class action lawsuit needs to happen.
Cons
There’s nothing good about this trucking coming

Just a terrible place to work. And believe me when I say they could not care less about their drivers. They just need you to drive their truck to make that company money, but this is all trucking companies, but some are better than others and this one here totally is worth worthless.
Pros
They’ll hire anybody. If you’re a driver who’s got a terrible driving record tickets Rex this coming here will probably hire you.
Cons
They have nothing to offer a driver unless you’re a driver who cannot get hired my other trucking companies in this one here is the one for you. They keep dropping their pay. There’s no doubt they got themselves in some financial difficulty. Your CSSA score is horrible. And that’s due to the driver they got they lost most of the customer freight and U-Haul mostly broker right now.

Good company to work for. Got here 6 months ago, miles are decent, bonus pay is nice, if you run you good. Equipment issues here and there, nothing major. Teresa is awesome, all floor downstairs very cool.
