Very poorly managed and low paying no matter how much clean driving experience you have. It's just like all the other bad companies that lie to you to get you in and nothing is what you were told or promised. No one to ever pick up the phone when you need help. The checks are very very shady and the per diem is wrong . All the guys in my orientation kept in contact and all had bad bad issues first week out like no one's truck being ready for a week or more all of us where at a different company within 2 months oh and breakdown pay is 75 bucks a day so you start out behind with these guys . No advances either so no help there and if you think you don't have to fight for every cent of your money . Think again, they have no payroll department no human you can call or talk to when your check is wrong . You won't get money that's owed to you .Only an email that no one ever answers . If your okay with low pay and having your money being funny on payday, try em out . They know your coming 2 weeks before orientation and then when they send you to your truck you'll find out your basically on your own with a super aged omnitracs system to communicate. The mechanics showed me 4 different trucks my original was in shop status and they told me no one should have been assigned this truck yet. I got to pick from bad to worse of the 4 .I took the Peterbilt 579 ultraloft the other 3 were freightshakers all in horrible condition missing skirts and fairings all kinda cracked bent and broken . Just embarrassing to drive . You'll also find out they don't have Volvo or petes like your recruiter told you no all freaightliners and a very small handful of Pete's no Volvos at all .Ashley distribution has Volvos.NOT apw Then all your checks and apps say Wilson logistics not Ashley. Turns out you need to apply to Ashley distribution which is a separate company if you want to work for Ashley. So it's all this big trick and game in the end and you won't realize it until the end of orientation.
Pros
They definitely show you what not to look for in a trucking company
Cons
Exactly what they are cons they will con you . They're very good at the lying and cheating you.

There is little to no communication with dispatch. They don’t have a clue whether a load is d&h or live. At times it was my fault roads were closed and I couldn’t deliver on time. There is no clear chain of command and the higher ups don’t seem to care anyway. Maintenance is minimal, if they can get away with it, basically they will bandaid it for now and then pay more for a road call later. Miles swing wildly from week to week, lots of brokered loads as they appear to not have enough contracted loads for the drivers they have.
Pros
Not much good but they seem to get you home on time, usually
Cons
Dispatch doesn’t care and won’t respond to QC or phone, no known chain of command minimal maintenance

I give 1 star cause I have to or I would give 0 stars across the board I’m a current employee and tell you this I would not recommend my worst enemy to this company my highest check has been $1306 the other checks have been around $400 equipment Is constantly broke down they don’t pay you sit on loads for at least 24 hours up to 3 days they tell you appt time that don’t exist send you for double booked loads don’t give you appointment information to deliver loads you can never get a hold of anyone in dispatch or management or if you do they take hours to respond back
Pros
If you like sitting in areas away from home not getting paid taking mini vacations then this is job 4 you
Cons
No pay no communication and lie about benefits takes 90 days to get them 20+ drivers a week quit

Have worked with Wilson for many years and then Ashley bought us and everything went down hill from there. What most of us thought was going to be for the better, after two years turned out the complete opposite. Management is very incompetent, dispatchers don’t know what their doing, company has lost many accounts resulting in practically no loads despite what they tell you. A furniture company has no business getting into freight logistics and does not know what they are doing. All the micro managers and pencil pushers in Wisconsin over analyzing and looking at spreadsheets have no idea and does not care one cent about the drivers. Best thing I ever did was run away from this company.
Pros
Not much to say here.
Cons
Loads, pay, HR, dispatch, maintenance, equipment, home time, planning, etc
