Was an excellent company until management went to crap.pay is OK but drivers are treated like bugs there now.Dispatchers can talk to you any way they like and if you so much as raise your voice you will be fired.Head of safety is also head of HR who will use anything you say or do against you (typical snake in the grass) if you choose to work here always CYA and trust NOBODY!!!!Cameras in trucks tell safety office everything and anything you do and say (so be careful what you say in the cab) all in all not a horrible place to work but with all the red tape you might as well work for a mega carrier or someone with good company paid benefits.

Pros

Home time is OK compared to OTR you will work when dispatch tells you to tho weekend or not.

Cons

Drivers are treated like second class citizens. Cameras in trucks used more for micro management than safety. Forced dispatch.

CLG has two sides to it. the company side and the owner operator side. I work for the owner operator side. this is a bring your own truck kind of deal. CLG will rent you a trailer if you don't have one. at first glance the 80/20 split with CLG looks a little high, but it is not. YOUR dispatcher gets a cut of what CLG gets so he only makes money if you make money! SO I actually do pretty good, so good that I have bought a second truck to lease on with them! YOU are in control, no forced dispatch, home when you want, etc. some drivers are home every weekend, personally I like staying out 5 or 6 weeks and then go home for a week or two. honestly just sign on up and trust that the Shane will get you good loads, because let's face it he wants to get paid too.

Pros

home when you want no forced dispatch the owner actually knows your name AND WANTS YOU TO SUCCED! HE HAS REALY EARNED MY LOYALTY.

Cons

my dispatcher can sometimes be a little to aggressive when finding loads, if you sign on with him, he will run you to death... IF you let him.

Great company at first but charge ridiculous amount of money when you quit for detailing a truck and “administration fees” not grateful people to work with and a lot of favoritism and drama

Cons
