Drivers here are complaining about not being paid. Cold Liner Express had a good guy, bad guy System, in which one dispatcher would demand that you break your hours of service or risk being terminated, and the other would tell you not to break your hours of service if you tried to quit, they would keep you out and not send you back to a terminal They’re not really at Trucking Company? there more a bunch of brokers it was like being kidnapped ! Originally there was apparently an older lady that owned the company and she was wrong about quite a few DOT issues, but if you showed her what the actual Department of Transportation said, she would become very angry. Supposedly she had years of experience, but somewhat new, mostly rumors and the other false information that many people follow who don’t look at the regulations. She plays the good cop, and a man that was behind the skulduggery would tell you that your clock had four hours left when you were an hour over. I told him that my clock was the only one that mattered to the DOT and he became very angry. When you leave, they will say something bad on your deck and try to keep you from leaving because the turnover right there is very high. Because they don’t seem to own their own trucks the account you get out is very important because some of the counts aren’t too bad and others are horrible.

Pros

Many of the drivers there are nice. They would short you on pay, but the pay wasn’t too bad all things considered.

Cons

Rudely discourteous dispatchers. An Owner and her assistant that seem to be almost sociopathic. Plus, they’ll put something on your DAK report when you quit that would help prevent you from getting other jobs. You have to file a complaint with the DOT and take care of it that way or sue them if you can prove it…. Document everything using screenshots and electronic pictures because they will tell a different story.

I sent a message via Qualcomm to inform them I was quitting and bringing the truck back to the terminal. (I was empty and not under a load) They withheld my last paycheck ($1600!) charging me 2 dollars a mile for unauthorized use to bring the truck back. Additionally, they attempted to ruin my DAC report by falsely stating that I abandoned a load. You can't abandon a load if you never had one in the first place. Just attempting to smear hard working drivers out here and ruin their records for fun. After posting a google review stating these facts, the owner openly admits that I returned the truck to the terminal without a load (proving that he tried to tarnish my DAC with inaccurate information)

Pros

Aiden was cool, trucks were OK.

Cons

No detention pay, owner tries to ruin your DAC record, withheld last paycheck, lack of consistent miles.

The best part about working for this company is the equipment. You won’t back down. They keep your guarantee pay and ore pay you on future loads , they leave you a bad report for the need job that wants to hire you. They mess with your miles . They play nice but they don’t really care about you .

Pros

Don’t wast your time Stay home with your family

Cons

It’s not even worth working for this company
