They are all against older drivers. Especially the rushville,Indiana terminal. They lie about the cameras to all of us.once your in their door and in their truck your a number not a human being.

Home every weekend for most part. If you have to reset otr they pay you 200$. My average pay is 2500$. They actually pay on a sliding scale. 27% base up to 30% of linehaul. All depends on your previous months production. They cycle in new trucks every year. Nobody starts at the top but if you get your numbers up quickly and safely showing up where your supposed to be on time, these folks will look out for you. Here its not a popularity contest. If you work hard, youve got it coming. Most of their freight is customer based. You'll see the same places a lot but i personally like that. Mainly coils but do see a backhaul of lumber or shingles sometimes.

Pros

Steady work, customer based, merit based as opposed to the buddy system.

Cons

My only real cons are they are a light weight fleet. Trucks have smaller sleepers and only one fuel tank, but in my opinion the pros here out weight the cons.

the pay is not what you think it is they run you alot empty and dont pay you for it. thay say you get 27% of the load but dont tell you it includes you perdiem so you really only get like16% of the load and the rest is your perdiem witch thay now get to use as a tax wright off, not you.

F&S has been my best driving experience with my few yrs of experience as a flatbedder. Regular loads & great support system. I recommend any safety oriented driver come to work.

I spent the last week talking to a Fraley and Shilling driver. Guy had absolutely nothing bad to say about the outfit, and that was a company that fired him over speeding! Yes, they are very, very, very, VERY safety and CSA conscious. Plus, the pay ain't chump change.

Yeah, I'm putting together the application even as we speak. They've got an operation just north of me, and never advertise for new employees. That, plus the sales job from a former driver, pretty much sold me on the company.

I've been driving flatbed for them for several years now and I think they are a great company. You are right about watching the CSA scores. They are very tough on traffic violations of any kind but they are upfront about it. They send us qualcomm messages when someone gets popped for doing something stupid and what it did to their CSA score just as a reminder. One thing they have going for them over other companies I have been with is #### good people in the office. Hell, Robert Schilling, the owner, knows who I am by name and will talk to anybody. I've never had that before!

Q: Applied to them for a yard jockey position, ended up signing up for orientation for midwest regional , any one know if they are any good to run for? Couldn't find any thing on them of substance, Thanks

A: Yep. Great company. I have work for them for the last 4 years out of the Alcoa, TN. terminal.
