About Grand Rapids Transport

Grand Rapids Transport began operations in Jenison, Michigan in 1986 as Sunrise Transportation. In 1990, the company reorganized and became Grand Rapids Transport, Inc. Since that time, Grand Rapids Transport has grown from 5 drivers and a handful of trailers, to 125 trailers and a group of over 50 experienced, dedicated employees that are committed to customer service and unrivaled quality of equipment.

Grand Rapids Transport is certified with 48 State Common Carrier Authority, Contract Authority, Canadian Authority and Brokerage Authority. The Company serves the Continental United States as well as Ontario, Canada, providing professional, on time service to its customers.
